Crooked Run Fermentation is a 10BBL Brewery producing extraordinary beverages including beer, wine, cider and seltzers, with three locations in Sterling and Leesburg, VA, & Washington DC.

I began working behind the bar and less than six months in, upon recommendation from a co-worker, I was given the opportunity to design labels for some of their canned offerings.

The objective with this ongoing client is to create labels that both remain on brand with their geometric and bold-stroked design aesthetics, while finding interesting ways to communicate the interior contents. Some of their collaborative projects give more freedom with imagery.

This project is fulfilling in several ways, as it not only gives me an outlet for my designs, but has taught me about branding, client needs and the importance of trusting your instincts amidst the process of revision.
