Penguin Records
Penguin Random House is a world renown Book Publishing Company.
Not only have they produced and distributed thousands of incredible books throughout their almost two century existence, but house over 300 independent imprints under their wing.
I have always been drawn to the inventive and minimalist approach to their Penguin Books imprint, and with that inspiration in mind I began a small love letter to my favorite imprint in the form of album covers designed in a Penguin-style fashion.
Drawing from my wide love of musical heroes, I set out to create a small series of intuitive illustrations. I wanted designs that were simple enough that they could work across multiple formats.
At the end of the day, this personal project fueled creative spurts between days of schoolwork and the distractions of the outside world, allowing me to disappear into canvas for spare moments at a time.
