My conceptual poster deals with Mental Health, an issue close to my heart. I wanted to create a theme that spoke very clearly and directly to my audience, which mostly consists of hospitality industry workers. With so many people either choosing not to return to work or continuing to work endlessly, the spun dialogue in mainstream media has created a disrupt in individuals finding mental resolve.

For my final poster I went with a cool and calming palette, coupled with a double entendre for the message, which speaks on the duality of mental health, medication and the balance between the two. I laid the template for my design by starting with typographic elements first, and then going with a minimalist vector-based approach that utilized white space, resulting in an image that allowed itself to breathe and stand out. What I think is unique about this poster is the humanistic intent and connecting empathy with commonplace phrases.
